And here she is, transformation complete. And she’s still beautiful… (Even more so we think but maybe we’re biased 😉 ). This 1965 split screen Kombi has been converted into a mobile bar/coffee van/moving billboard for Synergy, a management consultancy company based in Canberra.
Synergy approached the Van Demons team looking for a vehicle from which to entertain clients and staff with the view to providing them with a particularly fun and unique experience, all the while raising brand awareness in the form of a “moving billboard”.
The Van Demons crew scoured the country and found this lovingly restored Kombi from a private seller in Sydney, drove her to our workshop in Brisbane (who wouldn’t love a road trip in one of these babies!), gave her a total transformation and delivered her to rave reviews to the Synergy team in Canberra.
She’s powered with a lithium battery inverter system and features all the usual coffee van fitout items in the back, i.e. coffee machine, grinder, fridge, sink and coffee cup dispensers, and her side doors open to reveal a slide-out drinks fridges with beer taps mounted on top. She even has roof mounted speakers to pump out some tunes for Friday after-work drinks!
